What are the requirements to get started?
To get started, we ask that you complete a simple application providing us with the following: Cosmetology License, Independent Contractor License, and three references.
How long is the lease term?
Our lease term is one year, but you can renew as many times as you’d like!
Why should I rent my own studio?
We’re here to support and empower you on your journey as an independent beauty professional. With your lease, you’ll gain access to valuable business tools, including:
GlossGenius: We have partnered with GlossGenius, a premier business management tool, bringing it to you at a discounted rate. This tool simplifies bookings, payments, and client relationships
Stylist Success™ Marketing: We will also feature you on our website as one of our talented professionals as well as on our social platforms, giving you added visibility.
Plus, you’ll be surrounded by a supportive community of other independent cosmetologists who can offer advice and encouragement.
Can I set my own hours and prices?
Absolutely! You are your own boss, so you’re in charge of setting your hours and your pricing.
How are bookings and payments handled? Can I use my own software?
How secure is the building/studio?
Our building is locked 24/7 to maintain optimal safety for you and your clients. We have partnered with ButterflyMX, an entry system providing you with keyless access to your studio.
Each studio is also equipped with a Yale electronic keypad lock, allowing you to enter with a unique access code or via an app, while keeping your space and belongings secure. Additionally, security cameras are installed throughout the premises, both inside and outside the salon, for added peace of mind.
Can I personalize my studio?
Absolutely! Our studios are a blank canvas where you can add your creative touch. We will work with you to bring your vision for your space to life. Click here to learn more.
Is studio sharing allowed?
Yes, we allow studio sharing! We simply require that every beauty professional sharing the space signs a lease.
What is included with my studio?
Your studio comes equipped with a modern stylist chair, a stainless steel wash sink, a sleek backwash unit, a large mirror, hooks for capes, a simple styling tool holder, as well as upper and lower cabinetry with a luxurious granite countertop. Your lease covers all essential utilities, including high-speed internet for you and your guests and instant hot water, so you’re ready to deliver a high-quality experience for your clients from day one!
Are clients allowed to wait in a common area?
Yes! We have two comfortable and welcoming waiting areas as well as a fully stocked coffee and tea station, so they can enjoy a nice cup of coffee (or tea) while they wait.
Is parking available for me and my clients?
Yes! We offer free, onsite parking for you and your clients.
Can I offer additional services (e.g., retail products, specialty treatments)?
Absolutely! You are allowed to offer additional services, including the sale of retail products.
